Pond Weave; 8x10 inches; 2015; encaustic, paper. $50 This piece is made up of strips cut from encaustic painting on paper, combined with strips of various other hand-made and recycled papers, and denim, laid on a linen canvas background and treated with a protective sealer. These are some of my favourite colours – the blues, greens and browns of river, forest and pond.
